Beginning on Srila Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Goswami Maharaja's (Dr. T.D. Singh, Founding Director of Bhaktivedanta Institute) 77th auspicious Appearance Day our 2nd International Conference, Science and Scientist – 2014, was held at Siddhartha Auditorium, P. B. Siddhartha College of Arts & Science, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. This conference was organized by Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Institute, Siliguri, West Bengal, India and Bhakti Vedanta Institute of Spiritual Culture and Science, Princeton, NJ, USA in collaboration with P. B. Siddhartha College of Arts & Science, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Science and Scientist – 2014 is the premier forum for understanding the limitations of causal or mechanistic determinism in modern science and for exploring the Vedantic Paradigm as an alternative. The aim of the conference is to bring together leading researchers, developers, practitioners and educators from around the world who are interested in advancing the state of the art in a broad range of scientific disciplines. Speakers highlighted new prospects for understanding life based on 21st century biology.
