Learning Biodiversity from 21st Century Biology

Traditionally in science biodiversity was explained in terms of phylogeny. Since 21st century biology views organisms as sentient beings, it is necessary to consider the role of consciousness in explaining biodiversity [1, 2]. Contributors are invited to submit their views and papers to discuss this topic from various perspectives of biology.
